This Prince tie-rod hydraulic cylinder is an actuator for converting hydraulic power into mechanical motion. It is a double-acting cylinder with two hydraulic ports for both extension and retraction of the rod, and it is a rephasing model with an external bypass valve for applications using two or more cylinders plumbed in series or parallel. The ports are Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) size 8. It has clevis mounts on both ends for mounting. It is a high strength tie-rod for large loads, with an induction-hardened piston rod for strength and resistance to wear and DU bushings for a longer life.
